$55,000 - $65,000 a year
The position will perform a variety of activities related coordinating preparedness, all-hazard response and recovery efforts among a 6 county area, which include Boone, Story, Marshall, Tama, Jasper and Poweshiek, and the three primary disciplines of public health, hospitals, emergency medical services (EMS), and in support of emergency management agency plans. Education and Experience: Minimum of a 2-year degree in a healthcare, emergency medical services, public health, emergency management or closely-related field and 2-4 years of professional experience required. Knowledge of hospital, public health, EMA and EMS preparedness capabilities and standards preferred.
