Description:
Director of the Mathematics Laboratory (9 months) - Grinnell College is seeking a talented and versatile mathematics and statistics educator to serve as the Director of the Mathematics Laboratory, a full-time, 9-month continuing position. The Grinnell College Math Lab provides support to students in mathematics and statistics classes through both peer and professional tutoring, mentoring, and classes. The successful Director will be able to work both independently and in close collaboration with faculty in a variety of departments, particularly Mathematics and Statistics, on support of individual students and broader curricular development. The Director will also work directly and creatively with other academic support professionals to identify and intervene with students at risk of academic failure.
