| Apply Now to gain experience and learn about jobs in Poweshiek Internships Available for High School Students | | | | November 9, 2018 | | | The Poweshiek Internship Program's goal is to connect high school students with local businesses so they can gain work experience and knowledge about employment opportunities in this county's communities. This helps high school students make decisions about their future education and jobs, and it also helps keep our communities thriving with educated local labor forces.
The internship program is from 1pm-3pm daily, January 14 through May 10. Student interns will be at a location for 3 weeks and then rotate to a different work study location.
This program is a partnership between Poweshiek Iowa Development, Iowa Valley Community College, and Poweshiek County Schools.
