Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our marketing/merchandising department and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in implementing marketing strategies. In addition, you will assist in campaign management, promotion scheduling, site analysis, reporting and internal project management.
As an intern, you will collaborate with our marketing team. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.
Responsibilities:
Support marketing/merchandising operations in its daily administrative tasks by creation, formatting and compiling information and materials.
Job Duties:
Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
Assist in the creation of banners, emails and print ads
Assist in the upkeep of the promotion calendar
Research new marketing trends
Assist in merchandising emails/landing pages
Projects Candidate Will Assist With:
Development of Vendor Co-op program
Provide support in implementation of marketing workflow tool
A/B Testing Emails
Research and analyze competitors marketing plans and activities
Skills & Qualifications:
Enrollment in an Bachelor’s degree program
Knowledge and experience in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Knowledge in Adobe Dream Weaver and InDesign, is a plus
Microsoft Office Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge in HTML5 and/or CSS coding, is a plus
Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
