Description:
Assistant Football Coach (11 month-3 year term) - The Assistant Football Coach opportunity holistically impacts the football program, allowing the ideal candidate to play a key role in coaching, recruitment, and retention efforts. This position partners closely with the head football coach to prepare practices, execute on-field coaching, plan games, and potentially coordinating one of the three phases of play. Additionally, this role will have the opportunity to impact recruitment efforts by, maintaining contact with recruits throughout the entire recruitment process, assist with the campus visits of potential recruits, travel off campus for games, showcases, and recruitment fairs. Furthermore, this opportunity has a vital role in retention efforts for the football program, regularly mentoring in the areas of academic success, leadership development, and student-life at Grinnell.
