Chief Audit Executive
The Chief Audit Executive will be a collaborative, inclusive, results-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced work environment. This position is responsible for ensuring the company has internal control systems, operations efficiency, reliable financial reporting, and strict adherence to all relevant laws/regulations. This position leads the Audit Services Division, overseeing both the internal audit team and the annual statement preparation/tax advisory services for member mutual(s). Reports directly to the CEO/COO on an administrative basis; and to the Audit Committee on a functional basis. Responsibilities include an annual assessment of the organizational effectiveness of risk management and processes for control/governance, as set forth by the Board of Directors. Ensures that the organizational status, stipulated in an audit charter, and the internal audit department are aligned and consistent with the organization's objectives and governance policy.
