Job Seekers can sign up for the US Census at the Drake Community Library. The US Census Bureau scheduled four days to help people apply for temporary, flexible jobs and will also be on hand to answer questions and assist with the application process.
Applicant Days will be: Monday’s January 13 and 27 and February 10 and 24 from 10:30 am to 1pm in the Drake Community Library, 930 Park Street, Grinnell, Iowa
Salary for all census workers in Poweshiek County is $17.50 per hour and $.58 cents per mile.
Census results determine the number of seats in the US House of Representatives as well as how funds are spent on roads, school and hospitals.
