Description:
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT HEAD
Mayflower Community is seeking a skilled working supervisor to lead the environmental services department with respect, kindness, and humor. The environmental services team creates a clean, orderly, and safe environment for residents to enjoy.
The ideal candidate will hold an Associate Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience with at least three years of supervisory experience preferably in a skilled nursing facility or health care regulated in environmental services and demonstrate:
1) Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, equipment operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
2) Computer skills to include excel and word programs and software related to work force payroll, scheduling, billing and etc.
3) Knowledge of pertinent regulatory agencies and other policies, codes, standards and regulations, and has knowledge of infection control techniques.
4) Management of housekeeping and laundry operations.
