BUILDINGS/GROUNDS MAINTENANCE
Poweshiek County is accepting applications for the position of Full-time
Buildings/Grounds Maintenance.
This position includes maintaining Poweshiek County buildings and grounds according
to required standards regarding general appearance, cleanliness and operational
efficiency; operate and maintain boiler system and peripheral equipment used in heating
and cooling; perform semi-skilled maintenance work in such areas as plumbing,
electrical repair, painting and carpentry. The position also includes snow removal from
sidewalks and service drive using hand and power equipment and seasonal lawn
mowing, maintenance and upkeep of the lawn. Two years’ experience in maintenance
of commercial or residential buildings and premises that include the operation of boilers
is preferred. Must possess a valid Iowa Driver’s License. A complete job description is
